The surface to be coated with STEEL REPAIR must be clean, sanded and preferably sandblasted and dry, to ensure good resin adherence.
Two layers of Z 15 LC release agent should be applied over the areas where the product adherence is not desirable.
THE STEEL REPAIR HARDENER must be added to the STEEL REPAIR RESIN, therefore, requiring both components to be mixed with a metallic spatula. For larger amounts, it is recommended the use of a mechanical homogenizer. Obtaining a homogeneous mixture is essential.
After homogenizing, the product can be brushed or spatulated at the application area.
Whenever the ambient or parts temperature is under 15°C, a heat source should be applied to the parts and resin until they reach a temperature of at least 25°C. Doing so will provide perfect resin curing, and a maximum mechanical resistance as result.
