Hybrid Silicone Polyurethane Adhesive and Sealant

The sealant adhesive SMP 340 Universal is a versatile product, suitable for sealing between various civil construction materials. Designed to provide higher durability, it can also be painted and applied over damp surfaces.

Durability and resistance

The Anti UV-B additives, which can be found in the composition of SMP 340, provide a sealant with high durability to weather and climatic agents.

The construction work doesn’t stop after it rains

The high percentage of base polymers in its composition allows the product to be applied on damp surfaces, preventing you from having to wait until the sun appears to have your work dried.

Versatility for your construction work

Developed in medium elasticity module, in order to meet the most varied coefficients of expansion for civil construction materials. Thus, allowing sealing between different elements, such as concrete, aluminum, wood, steel, marble, granite, ceramic and PVC.

Applications

Gluing and sealing of drains and pipes

Joints in general with up to 25% movement.

Sealing of metallic covers (rooftiles, gutters and flashings)

Application in expansion joints of facades (painted and coated), precast panels and floors (light and medium traffic).

Maintenance of floor expansion joints (light and medium traffic).

  • Rupture stress (ISO 11600): 1.2 N/mm2
  • UVB ray resistance (ASTM C1257): 5,000 hours
